Jamila is a passionate advocate for equity and inclusivity in Canadian healthcare. With degrees in Public health and Business Administration and over a decade of experience spanning non-profit and financial sectors, she excels in public health and community development. Recipient of the 2024 Immigrant Champions Award, Jamila leads initiatives that address healthcare disparities among diverse Canadian populations. Her expertise in developing culturally sensitive programs and managing community interventions drives ICHN's mission for accessible, inclusive healthcare. Jamila's leadership ensures ICHN remains at the forefront of positive social change in community health.

Tina Ashiofu
MA Counselling Psychology, BA Psychology
Director of Counseling
Tina Ashiofu is a compassionate and dedicated professional with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Her extensive experience spans the critical areas of homelessness, addiction, and mental health rehabilitation, where she has made significant impacts. Tina's academic background complements her hands-on expertise in addressing complex health and social challenges. Known for her empathetic approach, she excels in supporting individuals through life's most challenging circumstances. Tina's work focuses on providing comprehensive support to diverse communities facing multifaceted health and social issues.

Dr. Eyitope Roberts
MBBS, MPH, Mmed Sci, DFSRH, MRCGP CCFP, MPhil
Director of Medical Services
Dr. Eyitope Roberts is a family physician with expertise in women’s health and primary care research. She is a clinical lecturer at the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She holds membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK) and is a certificant of the College of Family Physicians of Canada. She runs a general medical practice in Alberta , Canada. She is the CEO of ChatswithdrT – a platform aimed at promoting the health and well being of middle aged and older women. She is the executive director of Oases Gifting Foundation – a charity that supports the less privileged with health and educational services. She is passionate about mentoring young girls as they navigate their personal and professional career paths.

Irina Kalish
MS Ed.
Director of Adult Learning
Irina Kalish, a Master's in Education graduate from Belarus, brings diverse experience in teaching and immigrant support to ICHN. Since arriving in Canada in 2019, she has taught in Montessori schools, advocated for children with special needs, and volunteered with diverse families. Irina's passion for mentoring immigrants led her to support Early Childhood Education students and internationally educated nurses. With expertise in adult education and a deep empathy for newcomers' challenges, Irina is dedicated to helping medical professionals rebuild their careers in Canada, embodying ICHN's mission of inclusive healthcare support.

Kim Alexandra Pena Smith

Clinical Psychologist Advisor
Kim is a bilingual psychologist and educator with over a decade of experience in counselling and psychotherapy. Holding a Master’s degree in Family and Couples Psychotherapy, she excels in supporting immigrant women and youth. As a settlement counsellor, she provides tailored support for adaptation and integration. Committed to personal growth and community outreach, Kim delivers effective therapeutic services and workshops, empowering individuals and fostering mental well-being in diverse populations.

Ali Ali

Ali, is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of diverse experience in project management and administration, and grants management. Holding a Masters Degree in Organizational Development, Ali excels in managing projects and complex partnerships. His expertise in innovative program designing and execution approaches aligns perfectly with ICHN's mission. Ali's commitment to equity and inclusion, coupled with his immigrant background, strengthens ICHN's capacity to serve diverse communities effectively.

Ife Olatunbosun

Director of Clinical Services
Ife is a devoted Registered Nurse with over a decade of experience in healthcare. Beginning her career as an LPN in 2014, she has cultivated a diverse skill set through work in assisted living, long-term care, and acute care settings. For the past five years, Ifeoluwatobi has found her true calling in mental health nursing, where she dedicates herself to providing compassionate care and support to individuals facing mental health challenges. Her commitment to patient well-being and expertise in mental health align perfectly with ICHN's mission of inclusive, comprehensive healthcare.
